Switched On – Focus & Engagement for Border Collies
Transform your Border Collie’s focus in just one week with ‘Switched On’ Free Training Week
Is your Border Collie easily distracted, always scanning the environment, or ignoring you when it matters most? Living with a Border Collie that struggles with focus and engagement can be exhausting.
Everyday struggles you might recognise:
Lead walking nightmares
movement chasing
unreliable recall
Training struggles
If your dog can’t focus on you, everything else becomes harder. Training doesn’t stick. Walks aren’t enjoyable. You feel like you’re constantly managing chaos instead of building connection.
Imagine if things were DIFFERENT…
What if your Border Collie saw you as the most important, most rewarding thing in their world? With better focus, you could:
* Have a Border Collie that chooses you over distractions — even when other dogs, wildlife, or cars are around
* Build a reliable recall that works in real life, not just in the garden
* Teach new behaviours faster because your Border Collie is actually paying attention
* Finally feel that your Border Collie is your teammate, not working against you
Switched On – Focus & Engagement for Border Collies
We will be together from Wednesday 15th to Sunday 19th July, focusing on one thing: improving your Border Collie’s focus and engagement with you.
At the end of this week, your Border Collie will be able to:
✅ Listen to you even in distracting environments
✅ Keep engagement with you around things that they want to interact with
✅ Want to do the things you ask in a way that is fun for both of you
✅ Have a relationship with you that is better than ever

Why I’m the right person to help you
I specialise in Border Collies. I’ve owned them for over 21 years and currently share my life with five of them.
Over the past 22 years, seven Border Collies have taught me everything I know and now I pass that on to you: their quirks, their behavioural difficulties, their sensitivities, their strong drives and energy.
I’ve trained them for sport, as pets, and in the last two years as working colleagues on the farm. That gives me an insight that not many trainers have.
Border Collies are second nature to me. I understand them better than I understand myself.

I’m originally from Italy and moved to the UK in 2014, bringing two Border Collies with me. Sadly, they are no longer with me, but everything they taught me lives on in what I share with you every time I talk to you or teach you.
I now share my life with five Border Collies, three Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, two cats, around 250 sheep, 15 cattle, and so many chickens I’ve lost count.
I run a working farm in the Forest of Bowland alongside my dog training business, and I also train and compete in FCI competitive obedience.
“I had tried other trainers previously but never seemed to be progressing. Now my dog is amazing me on a daily basis.
Small steps, patience and persistence with Martina have paid off, I can’t thank her enough.”
