Lila is a trainer based in Surrey but originally from Poland. Lila and I got in touch as both moved to the UK in the same period and both are Border Collie obsessed and training fanatics. We trained together a few times and we spend time chatting about Border Collies pedigree and blood lines online, advising each other on potential puppies!

Lila has three Border Collies and competes regularly in agility, achieving amazing results even from dogs that are not so straight forward. Her training skills are made even better then the average as she is a residential trainer so she gets to train many different dogs.

What I admire more about Lila is the time and commitment she puts into her own dogs, training regularly even if she has to train more dogs then she owns due to her daily job!

Lila is founder of Temperament Dogs together with her business partner offering residential training and also teaches people with their dogs.

She also mentions on the episode that is working as trainer for a charity that helps sourcing and training dogs as support for Children with Autism. You want to check out the amazing job they do:

Hello, my name is Martina Miradoli and I specialise in training Border Collies.

I’ve owned Border Collies for many years and have trained them, along with other herding breeds in every sport and activity available.

This has allowed me to gain invaluable experience and an understanding of these unique dogs and the behavioural challenges that we may have to face as owners.
